ISMS Homework: Week 11

Apprehended Authority | Chapters 11 & 12

  1. Do you feel you have boldness to go to the throne of God as His child? Do you operate out of an inferiority complex as you approach the throne or do you see yourself as a covenant Child of God? What difference does it make how we come to the throne of God?

  2.  In Chapter 12 the author states that sin is a personified invader from without and is not a resident within. How does this idea help you to live a sinless righteous life?

The Gospel of Matthew | Chapter 21-24

  1. Jesus rides into the city on a donkey, which was a symbol of a prophetic act about Him foretold in scripture. How can we keep our worship of Jesus pure and genuine and not allow it to become superficial?

  2. In chapter 23 Jesus gives the religious leaders seven “woes” because of their rejection of Him as the Christ. How do you keep yourself on fire for Jesus and stay fully committed to His Lordship in your life?
